Woman told Myrtle Beach police a man exposed himself to her

A woman told Myrtle Beach police that a man exposed himself to her after she stopped to check on him, authorities said.

Police were called about 1:40 a.m. Friday to a gas station on the 3300 block of North Kings Highway, where a victim, whose age was not listed in the report, told police about the incident.

The victim told police she was riding her bike down Kings Highway when she stopped to check on a man who was standing beside his car, which was parked at 48th Avenue North and Kings Highway, according to the police report.

The victim said when she asked the alleged suspect if he was ok, he exposed himself to her.

The victim told police she then ran to the nearest gas station to call for help.

The victim could not provide many details because she said it was too dark outside.

Police are investigating the incident.

No arrests had been made by late Friday morning. Please check back for story updates.
