Police seek ‘armed and dangerous’ Conway man in Lazy G Motel shooting
A Conway man, deemed “armed and dangerous,” is being sought by police for a shooting last month that left one man injured at the Lazy G Motel.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is soliciting the public’s help to find 19-year-old Ronaldo Mark Fraser, who was described as “armed and dangerous” on the department’s Facebook page Monday.
Officers were called to the Lazy G Motel at 405 27th Avenue North for a report of gunfire at 8:54 p.m. on June 19. Several witnesses reported they had seen the victim arguing with a suspect, later identified as Fraser, and another man in the parking lot where they heard a gunshot.
The incident marked the sixth shooting in a 3-day span that left at least nine people injured in the city of Myrtle Beach.
Police found a spent shell casing in the parking area and confirmed that a shot had been fired.
Medics were called to the scene to examine the victim for a leg injury, but no gunshot wounds were observed on the man, according to an incident report.
The victim was not cooperating with the initial investigation and refused medical treatment, MBPD Lt. Joey Crosby said in an email after the shooting.
Anyone with information about Fraser’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department at 843-918-1382.
