Undercover officer makes prostitution arrest in Myrtle Beach

An undercover sting produced a prostitution arrest early Sunday morning in Myrtle Beach.

Jennifer Smiley James, 39, was approached by an undercover officer on 28th Ave. South and Yaupon Drive. According to a police report, she entered the car of the officer and agreed to perform sexual activities for money.

James had no prior criminal history and was charged with prostitution first offense.

The arrest of one of dozens in the area in the past few months.
