Shooting near Conway claims life of 22-year-old Loris man

A man shot early Tuesday on Kimberly Drive near Conway has died.

According to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard, Laquan Johnson, 22, of Loris, was shot and killed early Tuesday morning at a home on the street, which is just off S.C. 544.

Police responded to the shooting around 4:30 a.m. Johnson was taken to the hospital, but died shortly after 3 p.m., Willard said.
