Holiday wish list being created for area groups

Every year, on the first Sunday after Thanksgiving, The Sun News runs a list of submitted needs from area organizations and nonprofits so readers know how they can lend a helping hand during the holidays.

Participating organizations in the past included Canine Angels Inc., Family Outreach of Horry County, Street Reach, Help 4 Kids, The Salvation Army and more.

To participate this year, send an email to features@thesunnews.com with the subject line “Holiday wish list” and include the following: Name, address, phone number and website of the organization and a paragraph that starts “Our wish list needs are...”

The list will be published in the Nov. 29 issue of The Sun News.
