Freedom Readers has a simple mission statement, “To improve reading skills in low-income communities by providing literacy tutoring, free books and a high-energy learning environment,” said Tracy Swinton Bailey, founder of Freedom Readers.

Bailey shared passionate success stories resulting from her 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been spreading through Horry and Georgetown counties with this much needed After School Literacy Program.

Little River Rotarians were engaged with questions and new opportunities to continue to give and help improve the quality of lives in our local communities.
