The Brunswick County 4-H Teen Council participates in leadership and community service and also helps plan and carry out 4-H programs and activities of the Brunswick County Cooperative Extension Service. At its last meeting, Sgt. T.K. Nowell of the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office spoke to the members about Internet safety.

The council will have committee meetings during the summer. The next meeting will be an end-of-summer celebration Aug. 11. For more information, email Angie Lawrence, 4-H program assistant, angie_lawrence@ncsu.edu, or go to brunswickco4h.shutterfly.com.
