Myrtle Beach cheerleading team takes championship

The 3D Elite Allstars team, a cheerleading program in downtown Myrtle Beach, traveled to Virginia Beach, Va., recently for the U.S. Finals National Cheer Competition. The 3-D Elite Minions cheer squad returned home as national champions.

The 12 athletes are Madison Haak, Denia Wilburn, Bridget Buckley, Kara Smith, Zaida Martinez, Ariadna Martinez, Haley Goff, Rianne Davis, Kyndell Smith, Tara Dugan, Hayden Lathan and Melissa Maletta.
