Conway student inducted into honor society

Richard Beebe of Conway has been inducted into communication studies honor society Lambda Pi Eta. Beebe is a communication major at Coker College in Hartsville.

Lambda Pi Eta is a nationally known honor society that awards academic achievement in the communication discipline at accredited four-year colleges. To be inducted, students must first complete 60 semester credit hours and 12 semester hours in communication studies. These students must also earn an overall GPA of 3.0 and a 3.25 GPA for all communication studies, be in good standing with their college and rank in the top 35 percent of their class.
