Harley-Davidson festival reaps funds for WARM

Submitted photo

Waccamaw Animal Rescue Mission received the proceeds, $4,382, from Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson’s annual Bluegrass Festival, held March 29.

Pictured are Gail Fishman (left) from WARM and Jenn DeLuca, events coordinator of Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson.

The festival featured entertainment throughout the day, including bluegrass bands and cloggers. Harley-Davidson served chicken bog with green beans, slaw and rolls. WARM was there with adoptable dogs, a 50/50 raffle, bake sale, sales table and silent auction. The festival was a “pet-friendly” event, so many of WARM’s alumni came to visit, which always excites the WARM volunteers — it is always so good to see past residents happy, healthy and loved.
