Watching for flakes

Amy Stadler’s daughter, Anna Elizabeth, and their two rescues — Beamer, a chocolate Lab/bloodhound mix, and Spots, the cat — of Surfside Beach recently waited patiently by the window for a snowflake. School had been canceled due to anticipated inclement weather.
