Nearly 200 new jobs coming to Grand Strand

New jobs are coming to the Grand Strand area along with a new repair and maintenance facility, the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation will announce Wednesday morning during a press conference.

Horry County Council Chairman Mark Lazarus said the new company will provide 175 jobs paying $18 to $22 an hour. Lazarus declined to name the new company or reveal any more details on the announcement.

The press conference will be held at 11 a.m. at the Myrtle Beach General Aviation Terminal.
