Two crash victims identified
Two people who were killed in a crash on U.S. 501 Thursday night have been identified.
Richard Chapman, 25, and Danielle Lemmerman, 26, were killed in the crash, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.
Both victims were from Cartersville, Georgia.
WPDE reported that the victims were in the driver and front passenger seats of the vehicle that ran off the road and hit a tree.
Two other motorists also died Thursday from injuries suffered during earlier accidents.
John Landers, 56, died after being injured in a collision on U.S. 17 on June 25, according to McSpadden. And Tristan Marino, 20, died from injuries sustained during a crash on Highway 548 northwest of Conway on July 3.
All accidents are still under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
