Golf carts banned from free North Myrtle Beach concert
North Myrtle Beach has banned golf cart parking at the Horseshoe during free Thursday night concerts.
In an email, North Myrtle Beach spokesman Patrick Dowling said that the carts take up space needed for seating. Golf cart drivers will now need to park elsewhere.
“As the free concert series has become better known, attendance has grown to as many as 3,500 people per concert,” he wrote.
This Thursday, the Horseshoe will feature the band The Entertainers. Concerts run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and attendees must bring their own chair.
