DMV, state offices closed Tuesday for Confederate Memorial Day

South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles offices -- including those in Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown -- will be closed Tuesday in observance of the Confederate Memorial holiday.

DMV reminded drivers that the day after a holiday often are busy at DMV offices, urging customers to choose another time to visit or try to process their transaction online at www.scdmvonline.com.

S.C. government offices also will be closed Tuesday for the holiday.
