Myrtle Beach police searching for missing woman

Myrtle Beach police are asking the public’s help in finding a 32-year-old missing woman.

Katherine Stout has been missing since early March, according to her family. On March 31, Stout’s mother reported her missing at the Myrtle Beach Police Station.

Stout lives on Yaupon Drive in Myrtle Beach, police said. Her mother lives in Florence, and Stout’s daughter lives with her, according to a police report.

Stout keeps in regular contact with her mother, but she has not heard from Stout since March 6, police said.

The property manager at her Yaupon Drive home said Stout and her roommate left six to eight weeks prior and didn’t leave a forwarding address or message, authorities said.

Police checked hospitals and jails, but didn’t find her.

Anyone with information can call Myrtle Beach police at 843-918-1382 and reference case 16-005389.
