Myrtle Beach police are investigating a robbery.

The incident happened about 5:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Greens Boulevard.

The victim told police that there was a knock at the door and when he opened it, a man pushed his way into the home, according to the police report.

The suspect then demanded money. The victim gave the suspect his wallet, who then gave it to a woman who was with him.

According to the report, as the suspect asked the victim to get down on the floor, a woman in the residence came out of the bedroom to help the victim and the suspect hit the woman in the head with a gun.

As the male victim stood up to help, he was shot in the chin and neck by the male suspect. The weapon was a BB gun that looked like a real gun.

A struggle then ensued with the victims and the suspect. The victims retrieved the stolen wallet, but the suspects fled in 4 door sedan.
