Horry County Fair continues through the week
Horry County Fair opens Monday through Thursday 5-10 p.m. and noon-11 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Myrtle Beach Speedway, 455 Hospitality Lane, off U.S. 501, about three miles north of Myrtle Beach, and just past S.C. 31.

Film festival to begin Wednesday
The 11th annual Myrtle Beach International Film Festival kicks off Wednesday and continues through Saturday, with more than 40 movies planned for the week.

The festival will be at Carmike Cinemas Broadway 17, at Broadway at the Beach. The cost is $10 per two-hour block of films, or $50 for all-access pass.
‘HTC’s ‘Green Fair’ celebrates Earth Day
Attend a “Green Fair,” and bring telephone directories, cell phones and any kind of used electronic devices for recycling, as well as sensitive documents for free, on-site shredding.

Tastes at Pawleys slated for Sunday
The eighth annual “Tastes at Pawleys,” for Father Pat’s Lunch Kitchen for needy is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Road, Pawleys Island. The cost is $4 in advance and $5 at door for ages 13 and older, and free ages 12 and younger. Food tickets are $1.

Coin show planned for next weekend
The Myrtle Beach Coin Show, benefiting Meals on Wheels of Horry County will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Springmaid Beach Resort, 3200 S. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach.
