Horry County Fire Rescue battle Aynor-area barn fire

Horry County Fire Rescue firefighters battled a barn fire off Isaac Gerald Road in the Aynor area, and the blaze spread to nearby woods and burned one vehicle.

Crews were called out around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday to the fire that burned down the barn as it spread to less than an acre of woods and reached a vehicle. Firefighters extinguished the blaze quickly, and no one was injured in the incident.

The cause is still under investigation, Captain John Fowler said.
