More Horry County roads closed due to river flooding

Horry County officials closed more roads Thursday due to flooding from the rising Waccamaw and Little Pee Dee rivers.

Pitts Landing Road, Hughes Landing Road and Yauhannah Landing are all closed to all traffic, according to county spokeswoman Lisa Bourcier.

Pitch Landing Road in Conway and Landing Road in Little River are open to local traffic only, Bourcier said.

There are no detours available for any of the roads and all will be closed until further notice, Bourcier said.

Punch Bowl Road in Conway, River Road in Nichols, and River Loop Road in Nichols remain closed due to flooding. County officials closed those roads earlier this week.
