Gastropub coming to Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach
A new American gastropub is coming to Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach this spring.
The American Tap House, dedicated to craft food and beers, will have a new home at the former Club Boca spot, across from the Hard Rock Café’s new location, according to a press release.
Patrons of the gastropub can sample a combination of chef-inspired food and more than 40 American craft beers on tap and also explore unique regional and local craft beers and culinary creations.
Fare will be prepared with fresh ingredients, locally-sourced when available, and inspired by regional American comfort foods with a Southern flair.
“We plan to support all our great local Carolina breweries. Our goal is to seek the best craft beer throughout the Carolina’s and bring those home to our guest,” Head Chef and Partner Haim Aisenberg said in a press release. “Farm-to-Keg is growing and more and more craft breweries are sourcing local ingredients. From hops to grains and fruits to nuts, going local is huge and we plan on supporting that.”
The space has been revamped to include exposed brick, reclaimed wood walls, industrial Edison lighting, and windows that open up sidewalk-café seating, blending to create a trendy atmosphere that offers seating for 220 patrons.
American Tap House aims to become a place where friends, family, and neighbors gather to share life and enjoy craft food and beers, according to the release.
"We want to offer the local community something new and exciting,” said Owner Erez Sukarchi. ”A place for people that enjoy discovering great food and great beers - but more importantly a fun place to come out and relax with friends.”
Sister restaurants include: Wicked Tuna, Roosters, The Beach House, and Good Time Charley's in Myrtle Beach and Enso Asian Bar & Sushi and Essex Bar & Bistro in Charlotte N.C., officials said.
