Update: Power restored to area west of Conway
Over 2,500 people were without power Thursday afternoon as crews worked to restore an outage in an area west of Conway.
Power has been restored to the members served by the Four Mile Substation, but crews still have a big job ahead of them....

Horry Electric Cooperative, Inc. officials said that a recloser malfunctioned, causing the outage in the Four Mile Substation.
The outage was first reported Jan. 14 at 2:57 p.m. Full power was restored around 5:50 p.m.
