Wreck on George Bishop Parkway sends six to hospital

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck in Horry County that sent six people to the hospital Saturday evening.

According to Horry County Fire Rescue Brian Van Aernem. The wreck happened on George Bishop Pkwy. at Claypond Rd. around 7 p,m.

Van Aernem says three people were trapped inside their vehicle, but none of the injuries were critical.

One lane on George Bishop Parkway is closed while crews continue to work the wreck.
