Traffic accident causes power outage in Little River
Some residents in Little River are waking up without power this morning.
Horry Electric Cooperative is reporting on their Facebook page that an accident off of Highway 57 and Mt. Zion has broken a utility pole.
At one time more than 700 residents were without power.
Service workers were able to restore power to some of the homes this morning, however about 460 residents will be without power until the pole is replaced.
According to their Facebook page it could take up to four hours to replace.
