Carson brings GOP campaign to North Myrtle Beach

Republican presidential contender Dr. Ben Carson will be campaigning in North Myrtle Beach on Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Ace Hardware store located in Boulineau’s of Cherry Grove Beach.

The event is open to the public and is sponsored by the North Myrtle Beach Republican Club.

Carson’s poll numbers nationally show him running in fourth place behind Donald Trump, and U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. However, Carson is running in second place to Trump in South Carolina.

Carson’s average national polling is 12 percent, while in South Carolina his support is averaging 17 percent, according to Real Clear Politics.
