Traffic signal light blocking U.S. 17 and Glenn’s Bay intersection
The traffic signal at the intersection of Glenn’s Bay Road and U.S. 17 Bypass is currently blocking the roadway, and drivers are urged to take another route.
The signal is hanging down into the roadway, mainly blocking U.S. 17 Bypass northbound lanes, according to Lisa Bourcier, spokeswoman for Horry County.
The S.C. Highway Patrol is directing traffic and crews are working to fix the signal, but it could take several hours before the light is fixed, Bourcier said.
Motorists are asked to avoid that intersection and use alternative routes.
