Myrtle Beach police looking for missing teen who ran away from foster home
Myrtle Beach police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 16-year-old boy who ran away from his foster home, police said.
Charles Dillon Haselden was last seen about 11:15 a.m. Nov. 20 jumping a fence at his foster family's home, authorities said.
“He is soft spoken and has a homemade tattoo of a vampire with blood drops on his left arm,” officials said in a Facebook posting on Myrtle Beach Police Department page.
Haselden was reported missing after officers were called Monday to a home on the 1000 block of Park Drive.
A 61-year-old foster parent told police he asked Haselden to pick up pecans outside and rake the yard. Haselden got dressed and went outside, and a neighbor told the foster parent they saw Haselden jump the fence, police said.
Haselden is 5'11 in height and weighs about 157 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue and white striped jacket and blue jeans when he disappeared, according to the report.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts can call Myrtle Beach police at 843-918-1382.
