Horry County police on Monday released a photograph of a man they want to interview in connection with last week’s suspicious fire at Big D’s Bar-B-Q.

A county police officer discovered the fire around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at the longtime restaurant on George Bishop Parkway. An arson investigator deemed it suspicious.

Anyone with information about the man in the photograph is asked to call the police department’s tip line at 843-915-8477 (843-915-TIPS).

Big D’s has been an Horry County staple for 33 years.
