Frost advisory issued for inland Brunswick, N.C., Horry, Georgetown counties

You may want to bring patio plants inside tonight because a frost advisory is in effect for early Sunday morning for inland Brunswick, N.C., Horry and Georgetown counties.

The advisory is issued from 3 to 8 a.m. Sunday because temperatures are expected to dip into the mid-30s, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C.

The advisory means that widespread frost is expected, and sensitive outdoor plants could be killed if left uncovered, weather authorities said.
