Lanes reopened on North Fraser Street after EMS vehicle involved in crash
One lane on North Fraser Street near Browns Ferry Road was blocked for part of Friday morning after a Georgetown ambulance and mini van collided, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 9:45 a.m. Friday on North Fraser Street near Browns Ferry Road, according Sgt. Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver of the mini van was in the median and pulled out in front of the ambulance and hit it, Collins said.
No injuries were reported in connection with the crash, but two EMS workers did go to the hospital to be checked out just as a precautionary measure, authorities said.
