Expect delays on Ocean Boulevard for Shriners parade Friday
Myrtle Beach police plan to restrict access to Ocean Boulevard for the annual Omar Shriners parade Friday evening, Lt. Joey Crosby said.
Officers and barricades will restrict access to Ocean Boulevard from 12th to 29th avenues south during the parade, which is set for 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday, Crosby said.
“We want to make it as safe as possible for participants and attendees,” Crosby said.
Anyone in that area will have access to hotels and businesses, but plan for some delays in getting there, Crosby said.
