Myrtle Beach woman sought on suspicion of 17 counts of forgery

The Conway Police Department is looking for a 48-year-old Myrtle Beach woman accused of cashing 17 checks of her employer and keeping the money.

Michele Ann Vance is being sought for questioning after Conway police responded Aug. 28 to BB&T, 310 Wright Blvd., in reference to a report of forgery. Police say Vance worked at True Value and forged 17 checks and issued them to herself. She cashed the checks in her name, police said, and the transactions took place from June through August.

Vance was last known to be driving a cream-colored Lexus RX350. She is a white female and about 5-feet-tall and 130 pounds.

Police are asking anyone with information on Vance’s whereabouts should contact them at 843-248-1790.
