Body found in water near Georgetown

The body of an unknown white male was found in the water near Georgetown, according to Georgetown County Coroner Kenneth Johnson.

Johnson said the body was found in the harbor at around 8 a.m. this morning. The coroner's office has not released the identity of the man.

An autopsy was scheduled for today.
