Beach, Boogie & BBQ

The 10th annual Beach, Boogie & BBQ will be held this weekend at the Horry-Georgetown Technical College Conference Center near Grand Park at The Market Common.

Festivities will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and feature barbecue and other food for sale from vendors and competitors. There also will be live entertainment on both days and activities for the kids.

The conference center is located at 950 Crabtree Lane in Myrtle Beach. Parking is free and available throughout The Market Common area and HGTC campus buildings along Pampas Avenue.

Coastal Uncorked returns this weekend for its fifth annual Food and Wine Festival, moving to Labor Day weekend at Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach.

The festival features local food, wine, beer and live music.

New this year is the festival’s first event, Chocolate Under the Moon on Friday will feature a variety of desserts and a moonshine mixology competition. Saturday brings back Brews’ N The Beach, a craft beer festival.

Sunday will feature the popular Grand Wine Tasting Tent, which includes wine samples and a selection of hors d'oeuvres.
