A fallen tree trapped a driver inside their vehicle at a Myrtle Beach area business.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a business in the 9000 block of North Kings Highway at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday in response to a large tree that fell on a vehicle, confining the driver, according to a Facebook post.
Rescue crews utilized extrication and stabilization operations to remove the confined driver, the post said. One person was transported to the hospital with injuries.
Utility crews will be working to repair damaged lines brought down by the fallen tree.
It is unclear if the downed tree was because of severe storms that rolled through the Grand Strand Tuesday afternoon.
