North Myrtle Beach longtime restaurant closed after fire. What we know

A longtime North Myrtle Beach restaurant is closed after a fire occurred in the building on Monday.

Flynn’s Irish Tavern, 421 Main St., posted on its Facebook page Tuesday that the restaurant experienced a “small electrical fire” and it would be closed Tuesday while repairs are completed. The restaurant is expected to be back open Wednesday, the post said.

No one was injured in the fire.

It is unclear what time the fire occurred or how it started. A message left at the restaurant was not immediately returned.

North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue responded to the fire.
