Missing Myrtle Beach area woman last seen with husband 16 days ago, police say
Horry County Police are searching for a woman who has been missing since May 13 from her Myrtle Beach area home.
Cyrena Anderson was reported missing on May 19, 2026, by her sister, who last spoke with her on May 12, according to a Facebook post from HCPD. The 48-year-old failed to report to work on May 14 and was reportedly last seen with her husband, Danny Osborne, at their residence in the Forestbrook area, the post said.
Osborne told investigators that Anderson gathered her belongings and left their residence during the early morning hours of May 13, 2026. However, investigators have since discovered evidence that contradicts his account, the post said.
Osborne is currently in custody with the Wilmington Police Department on unrelated charges, the post said.
Police said Osborne drives a red Ford F-150 pickup truck and is known to frequent Brunswick and New Hanover counties in North Carolina. Investigators believe Osborne traveled through the Supply and Bolton, North Carolina, communities along Highway 211 on May 15, 2026, the post said.
Police are asking anyone with information related to the investigation to contact HCPD’s tip line at 843-915-8477.
