These 6 Grand Strand area beaches rated the best in South Carolina. Where are they?
Six Grand Strand and South Strand beaches have been named among the top beaches in South Carolina.
USA Today released Wednesday its top 10 list of “best beaches” in the state. The beaches were selected by an expert panel and then voted on by readers.
North Myrtle Beach, home to nine miles of beaches, was named No. 2 on the list.
Other beaches along the Grand Strand on the list are Surfside Beach at No. 3 and central Myrtle Beach at No. 7.
Pawleys Island, located along the South Strand, took the No. 1 spot. Huntington Beach State Park was No. 4 and Litchfield Beach was No. 6.
