This Myrtle Beach spot has upgraded the classic dive bar. It offers sushi and tacos
A new bar that serves sushi and tacos has opened in Myrtle Beach.
Rebel Bar, 7718 N. Kings Highway, describes itself as a classic dive bar that has been elevated with a modern edge. The menu focuses on sushi and tacos (there is even a combo of the two — taco sushi), but also has other elevated bar favorites, including burgers, street corn nachos, disco fries and Korean BBQ ribs.
The bar also has signature drinks and cocktails, and offers customers pinball and arcade games.
The bar, which is open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily, also gives a little extra on the weekends to those who might be recuperating from a night on the town or just wanting to sleep in a little later.
Rebel offers brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The menu includes huevos rancheros, Cajun deviled eggs, burritos and a breakfast-style sushi roll that has bananas, bacon and walnuts that is dipped in pancake batter and fried.
