This viral mime will make some noise at Myrtle Beach Bike Rally. Here’s when

The annual Myrtle Beach Bike Spring Rally is just around the corner, which means that pretty soon, bikers from all over the country will be seen cruising up and down the Grand Strand.

But the spring rally isn’t the only thing bikers and viewers have to look forward to because in the fall, they’ll see a new friendly face among the crowd.

Tom the Mime, who has won over people across social media for his teasing and playful expressions, will attend the Myrtle Beach Bike Fall Rally, Lee “Spider” Webb, the chairperson of the rally’s promotions and marketing committee, told the Sun News.

Tom, whose real name is Tom Munson, can often be seen at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, where he’s performed for more than 30 years, according to his website. Across his social media accounts, he’s amassed more than 10 million followers. Munson also has more than 12,000 YouTube subscribers.

Webb reached out to Munson and his team about attending one of the Myrtle Beach rallies after he saw a post of Tom the Mime attending a bike event in Daytona Beach, Florida.

“It immediately appeared that he was a huge hit,” Webb said. “It just really added one more sparkle to an already great rally.”

In a Facebook post on April 22, Tom the Mime announced that he would attend the Fall Rally but was still “trying to figure out” if he could attend the spring one. Munson has wanted to start branching out to other bike events, he said in the post.

Even if Tom the Mime doesn’t make an appearance at the Spring Rally, Webb said they still hope to set up a few live streams with the performer.
