Big grocery store chain to open in Conway. Here’s where it will be located
Conway will be getting a new grocery store.
Food Lion has signed a lease at a shopping center at 3425 U.S. 501, according to a social media post by Impeccable Development.
The location is part of the company’s development on more than 10 acres of land along the highway, near Four Mile Road. The property is near Parker’s Kitchen and Tractor Supply on Church Street.
A message left for Impeccable Development was not returned by publication.
The new store will serve the growing northwestern side of Conway, said Katherine Kirby, manager of external communications with Food Lion.
“While it’s still early in the process, we anticipate an opening timeframe in early 2028,” Kirby said. “We look forward to continuing to invest in the community and provide the fresh, quality products and convenient shopping experience our customers expect from Food Lion.”
This will be the fifth Food Lion location in Conway.
The Impeccable Development’s website didn’t say what additional businesses would be located on the property, but did say that the land is located about 5 minutes away from where more than 4,000 residential units will be built over the next several years.
