A Stand Your Ground hearing to being conducted in Horry County regarding the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Scott Spivey’s family against Weldon Boyd and Kenneth “Bradley” Williams.
Judge Eugene Griffith Jr. is hearing the case to determine whether the two shooters’ actions fall under the law. If it is ruled Stand Your Ground, the two men will be immune from civil action and the lawsuit will not proceed.
