A new fast food spot is coming to the Myrtle Beach area, and early customers to its grand opening could get free food for a year.

Wendy’s is opening a new location in the city at 115 Sapwood Drive, in the Carolina Forest area, just off of Carolina Forest Boulevard. The grand opening will take place on Feb. 14, and the first 100 customers will receive a card for free food for a year, according to an online announcement by the chain.

The grand opening will take place at 10:30 a.m.

This location will join four others around Myrtle Beach, and dozens more throughout South Carolina. It will serve the burgers, fries, Frosties and other items that diners expect to find at the national eatery.

The restaurant and drive through will be open to hungry customers from 6 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays, according to the Wendy’s website.
