North Myrtle Beach restaurant closes its doors. Owner opens 2nd spot under new name
A North Myrtle Beach restaurant has closed its doors and reopened under a new name in Myrtle Beach.
Cuba Bar and Restaurante at 70 Highway 17 South closed after the owner decided to sell the building, according to owner Mauricio Arbiza.
But Abriza didn’t let that stop him from operating a restaurant. He now owns Dos Carnales Restaurant Mexican and Salvadoran Food, located at 403 W. Broadway St. in Myrtle Beach.
The name means “two brothers,” Abriza said. But it’s not owned by two brothers; Abriza just kept the original name.
Abriza said the menu will offer Cuban food. The new restaurant opened Feb. 8.
