Porch concerts coming to Conway’s historic neighborhood. What roads will close
A free, new festival with dozens of live concerts is coming to Conway.
The city’s historic downtown area will host Porchfest on Sunday, Feb. 15, from noon to 6 p.m. More than 20 home porches will host over two dozen performers, including classical, folk, gospel and rock shows.
To accommodate the new festival, Conway will close some downtown roads from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., including:
- Laurel Street, from Fifth Avenue to Seventh Avenue
- Elm Street, from Fifth Avenue to Ninth Avenue
- Seventh Avenue, from Laurel Street to Beaty Street
- Sixth Avenue, from Main Street to Elm Street
Visitors can bring camping chairs and wagons to set up outside and watch the performances. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own snacks, drinks and coolers. For those who don’t want to pack a lunch, Porchfest will feature nine food trucks.
A complete lineup and performance schedule is available on the Conway Downtown Alive website.
