Birthdays gave a Conway woman an unexpected Christmas present as the dates matched every number drawn on a lottery ticket she purchased.

The woman used her birthdate and the birthdays of her closest family members for the Palmetto Cash 5 drawing that happened Dec. 22. The numbers paid off when she won an $814,000 jackpot, according to a release from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

“I couldn’t comprehend what I was seeing,” she told lottery officials describing the moment she checked her ticket. “Am I looking at my ticket or the draw results?”

She purchased the ticket from the Quick Stop at Highway 701 N. in Conway.

As for her plans, she says she doesn’t want to spend the prize money on herself.

“It’s more fun to help others,” she said.

For selling the claimed ticket, Quick Stop in Conway received a commission of $8,140.
