A popular Grand Strand Chinese restaurant is shutting down. Here’s what we know

A beloved Grand Strand Chinese eatery will close its doors for the last time this week.

Conway Chinese Restaurant’s last day will be Christmas Eve, Dec 24. Located at 1610 Church St., the restaurant has been a popular fixture in Conway’s dining scene for years.

“We regret to inform you that Conway Chinese Restaurant will be closing due to unforeseen circumstances,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook.

It’s unclear why Conway Chinese Restaurant is shutting down, and The Sun News was unable to reach restaurant ownership for comment before publication. However, the social media closure announcement hints at potential future plans.

“We will miss you dearly, and we hope to see you again in the future,” the post says.
