Popular Grand Strand coffee shop to open new Conway location. Here’s when
Liberty Brew Coffee is set to open its second brick-and-mortar location in Conway next year.
The community-centered coffee operation currently runs two food trucks and one brick-and-mortar location at 3080 Highway 90. The second location will welcome Conway customers further west at 1801 Main St. at the intersection with Oak Street.
“We have Conway East and Conway West, and a lot of folks come from the other side of Conway and love our shop, love sort of what we represent,” said Liberty Brew Coffee founder and CEO David Steadman. “So we were like, ‘Well, if we could just open up another place,’ and it had to be the right spot, so I think that was key for us.”
After starting the property search in August, Liberty Brew Coffee hopes to open the new location to the public in May or June 2026.
“Every cup tells a story,” Steadman said. “The mission that we have is really around honoring the service and freedom of the veterans, but also enjoying that great cup of coffee. So, a gathering place of neighborhoods, friends, family, a focal point for that, and being able to support our community, and not just veteran community, it’s really about the local community.”
Unlike the existing location, which features indoor and outdoor seating areas, the new Liberty Brew Coffee will have a drive-through and outside area, but no inside option.
The menu at the new coffee shop will be the same, and customers can accrue and spend across the food trucks and permanent locations.
“I don’t think there’ll be major changes, other than you won’t be able to walk inside,” said Steadman. “We’re going to try to make it as inviting as we can possibly do it, military theme, very, very veteran-type of theming, so you can be outside and still enjoy everything around that reminds you of Americana.”
