Motorcyclist killed in Myrtle Beach crash near Market Common. Victim named
A motorcyclist was killed in an Horry County crash on Tuesday.
William Cardew, 63, from Myrtle Beach, was taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries from striking a curb on his motorcycle. He later died from his injuries, according to an email sent Thursday by Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
Cardew had been driving on the roadway in Market Common and was ejected from his motorcycle after hitting the curb.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating the death.
