Man dies days after car crash in Murrells Inlet area. Coroner names victim
A man was killed in an Horry County car crash on Friday, according to the Horry County Coroner’s office.
Andrew Bowden, 86, of Garden City, was taken to the hospital after a traffic collision on Rainbow Drive in the Murrells Inlet area.
He died there three days later from multiple traumatic injuries, according to an email sent Tuesday by Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
